I left my job back in 2016 to build a business that let me live life my way, only to realise some years later I was still following an invisible rulebook about what a “proper” business owner was supposed to look like.
At which point I decided, nope, fuck the rule book, we’re doing things differently around here.
I’ve spent the last 8 years building hundreds of brands, from solo businesses to million-pound companies, mentoring business owners, speaking on stages and co-hosting a sell-out business retreat.
And if all of that has taught me anything, it’s this: the things we’re most tempted to edit out are often the exact things that make people choose us.
